Any room where gambling is part of the story.

02

Sports clubs

Straight talk for players and teams, where betting is everywhere and the pressure is real.

03

Workplaces

Sessions for crews and staff on spotting the signs, looking out for each other and getting help early.

04

Communities

Community groups, youth programs and organisations, from small yarns to large gatherings.

In the room

Big crowds or small groups.

Troy speaks in schools, on worksites and out in communities, and he's just as at home in front of a full hall as he is around a table.

Why Troy

He's not reading from a slide.

Troy first gambled at 16 and gambled away everything he had before asking for help at 24. He's now over 9.5 years gamble-free.

That story is what makes a room listen. Young people hear it from someone who's been there, not someone telling them what not to do. Adults hear it without judgement, and leave knowing what to look for and where to get help.

Ways to book Troy

Three ways to bring Troy in.

Keynote talk

Troy shares his story and what it taught him, followed by questions from the room. Ideal for assemblies, conferences and events.

Interactive workshop

A hands-on session in smaller groups: how gambling hooks people, spotting the signs, and practical tools for saying no and asking for help.

Community session

Troy joins your group for the day, through footy, fitness or a yarn, building trust first and then sharing his story.

Troy has a contagious positive energy and enthusiasm, which enabled him to build trust with the men, engaging them in footy and fitness sessions. Troy facilitated a powerful session with the men, sharing his story of a childhood mired in complex trauma which manifested in violent offending, addiction and incarceration. He shared tips on how he then transformed his life to become a proud Dad, businessman, youth mentor and community leader who now supports other men to overcome gambling addiction and achieve their goals.
